Project: 22/220kV Substation Capacity Upgrade
Client: State Transmission Utility
During project execution, the client realised they had not considered civil foundation reinforcement while upgrading the power transformer from 50MVA to 100MVA. Since this outage affected a large community in and around the substation, the client had published a 90-day outage notice in the newspaper. However, Solidus Power not only ensured structural stability by reinforcing the foundation, but also completed installing and commissioning the 100MVA power transformer within a record time of 49 days.
